- Don't look at me so skeptically. I may be younger than everyone else here, but that just means I'm extra qualified to be here. I had to earn my way into my warband.
- I've had a little experience with that.
- Aren't charr raised in their warbands?
- All right. I'll believe you.
- Grub Warble
- Really? Were you a gladium, too? I was when I was younger, but not by choice. No, my mother was the dishonored one. It's her fault I never had a fahrar.
- She kept you with her?
- All attacks cause poison.
- She left before she knew she was expecting. By the time I was born, she was over in Hoelbrak. She took care of me until I was old enough, then left me with a gladium soldier to learn how to fight.
- Seems like he was a good teacher.
- Envenom
- One of the best, despite his misfortunes. I spent six months proving my worth in the Black Citadel, so they sent me here, where I spent four months proving my worth to the legionnaire.
- Well done.
- Normally, somewhat, yes. But I was a gladium as a cub. Not by choice. No, my mother was the dishonored one. It's her fault I never had a fahrer.
- Unkillable
- Fire a dart loaded with an experimental tranquilizer. Rifle contains one round.
- Leberum Scattercinder
- Step carefully through here. The devourers are trained, so they won't attack unless they're told, but that doesn't mean they won't get cranky if you step on an appendage.
- Trained devourers must be useful.
- Barrier Mastery
- Fire a timed charge at your target, damaging nearby foes when it detonates.
- Sure. They've got a reputation for being nasty, but that's just what we want. No use having a war beast that can't tear off a limb or two.
- Why not just use warhounds?
- Ring of Fire Duration
- Different situations call for different weapons. Eventually, I'd like to even see skale fighting beside us as well. Can you picture a whole mess of them storming the Brand?
- Are you the trainer?
- Enveloped in a fiery shield that burns foes, grants might each time you are struck (1-second cooldown per attacker).
- Me? No, I'm just a soldier. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate them. They sure make things easier out in the midst of a battle.
- Elixir. Shoot an elixir orb, healing allies when it bursts and creating an area of continual healing.
- Washmull Daggerwary
- You're some sort of adventurer, aren't you? If you want my advice, go find an adventure somewhere else.
- Detonate your harpoon turret.
- I don't want your advice.
- Launch a barrage of rounds that push back foes where they land.
- If you don't have a reason to be stuck here, don't stick around. I've heard that nearly everywhere you go in Tyria these days, there's a battle to be fought, but it's different near the Brand.
- Launch an explosive round from your mortar, damaging foes in the target area.
- It takes a certain type of soldier to survive out here: jaded, hollow, stripped of compassion. You can become that type of soldier, but I wouldn't advise it. This place changes you.
- Don't underestimate my resilience.
- Merxus Spineripper
- You're not a Sentinel, are you? Well, never mind, we can use you anyway. You can never have too many allies out here. And if you've made it out here, you've got some mettle to you.
- I'm not afraid of the Brand.
- I know how to face the unfaceable.
- Great. See you around.
- Evade Forward
- Good to hear! You're exactly the sort we need more of. Lots of battle-eager cubs talk big, but they balk when someone mentions the Brand. You've earned my respect just by showing up.
- Shoot a ram's head in front of you, impairing any struck foes.
- Then you've learned to master the unmastered. Listen, I have something to tell you. My observations reveal that some unusual residents have claimed Lamprey Grottoes.
- Elixir. Launch an elixir orb, healing allies on impact and creating an area of continual healing.
- Fremeric Legcracker
- If you're here to help, great, but don't get in the way. You could get knocked out by a cannonball or some flying rubble.
