- I like to be up front. Don't expect a relaxing time here. It's been a long time since this place was anywhere you'd want to visit.
- What was it like?
- Then I'll be on my way.
- A while ago, this water used to be deeper and the lakes were more connected. Iron ore was starting to see more use, and there were good deposits up here. Ore and supplies would be sent upriver on boats.
- This lake here?
- The presence of the rotten tree weighs on your heart, slowing your movement.
- Like I said, it was a little bigger. This little village was the main dock, where the ore was loaded. That's why this lake's called Ironhead. That, or the armored fish. I've never been exactly sure.
- We'll probably never know.
- Just be careful not to incite the unincited. Nice to see a fellow Whispers Agent. If you're interested in more history, I have a juicy tidbit I can share.
- Please do.
- Significant increase in gold find.
- You may have noticed a cauldron just to the north of here. What you may not have realized is what a grand role it played in the history of the region. It is the very same cauldron that wiped out Ascalon many years ago.
- Significant increase in magic find.
- Timbus Netweaver
- That isn't a bad life, considering. Fishing is relaxing, but necessary, so I can take it easy and be useful at the same time. And since I'll never go back to mining, this is really the best I'll get.
- Why won't you go back to mining?
- That's good, I guess. Good-bye.
- Press and hold to turn your trebuchet to the left.
- I was mining up north with the rest of the warband when the cave collapsed. Only two of us survived. But she didn't fare too well.
- Was she injured?
- That's too bad.
- She lost the use of two legs and one arm, and her mind wanders a little now. I could go back to mining, but she can't physically do it. She's my warband, so I couldn't just leave her. We came here to start over.
- How's that going?
- Chain. Strike your foe twice.
- As best as it can go. We found a new warband, mostly fishers. My friend can't contribute much, but they've accepted her anyway. It's not the mine, but it'll do.
- Chain. Strike your foe again.
- Eulexa Trapnet
- You! What are you doing here? You here to work on the fortifications?
- What's it to you?
- No, I'm not. Good-bye.
- Chance to dodge incoming attacks.
- The fortifications are fine. They don't need more work. We just got our camp back from that hoard of Iron Legion engineers. It's a soldier's camp again, and that's the way it should be.
- Weren't the engineers performing an important job?
- All right. See you around.
- Sure, but that doesn't mean they weren't in the way. I can't stand people who think that if they're doing something to help the fight, they're as much in the war as the soldiers themselves.
- Champion Buff
- I'd rather not talk to you anymore.
- If you're not out on the battlefield, you're not in the war. I don't care if you're making weapons or armor or gathering food for troops. If you're not a soldier, you don't count.
- That's incredibly wrong. Good-bye.
- Hallima Shieldsplitter
- I'm getting my lucky sword sharpened. You can't skewer a Flame Legion tail-biter with a dull sword. Well, I guess you can if you push hard enough.
- That's brutal.
- Sounds great. See you around.
- Launch a mortar shell that leaves a ring of fire on the ground.
- Look around you. What do you expect? You know, I used to always take prisoners if I could. I didn't kill an enemy unless there was no way out. But then I was stationed here.
- Launch a mortar shell that leaves a ring of electricity on the ground.
- Knockback nearby foes
- You try fighting the Flame Legion for two years straight. See if you can still find it in your heart to have mercy for them then. They're foul. I feel no guilt in decapitating every one of 'em I see.
- You've been out here too long.
- Zuelimus Cinderstomper
