- Is nowhere safe?
- Hey, charr. You're lucky. Soooo lucky. Lemme tell you how lucky yoooou are. So lucky it's...disgusting. All three of you walking through this town like this, like big, lucky, fuzzy blurs of fuzz.
- Whoa. Stand back a bit. All that booze on your breath is making my fur curl. It's like you went swimming in a tavern or something.
- I'm not getting involved with this.
- Yeah, well, this great guy at the bar kept giving me drinks. Told me how I could be a real hero to my people, y'know? Said I could just walk into the charr delegation camp at night...
- Hold on a second. What are you planning? At least tell me before you vomit yourself into unconsciousness.
- He said all I needed wasssss...a knife. Just a knife. So I could go slitty slit slit. Sooo easy. Yeah!
- Hold on. You can't walk in to the charr delegation camp like that! You'll get butchered where you stood. This guy, it sounds like he setting you up to be an assassin.
- What? Noooo, never, not a chan...hey-o, wait. He did say something about being a terrific sacrifice for the cause. Great Grenth's garters! He was gonna have me killed. Oh, I think I'm gonna be sick.
- Sober up and put the knife away. You'll feel better. Trust me.
- Shifting Rocks
- I can't believe how much has changed since the cease-fire started. Mind you, I prefer peace, but we're so used to being at war. I think we're having a hard time making the transition.
- Before the asura gate was installed we relied on this excavation to keep our walls and weapons in good repair. Now we even have excess to send back to Divinity's Reach. It's a nice change.
- Interesting. How can I help with your troubles?
- Not a bad deal, all told.
- If you find any slacking off, remind them there's still a job to do. They usually snap to it as soon as they realize someone is watching.
- I'll get them back to work.
- The miners have been running into more and more skritt and burrowing wurms these days. We lose a couple hours a shift dealing with them, but they're nothing compared to the cliff bats.
- Tell me about the bats.
- The war used to put the steam into some of the workers here. Without it, they're just not as motivated. On top of that, the peace and quiet has allowed pests to make this place their new home.
- How can I motivate the workers?
- How can I help with the pests?
- I'm curious. Has your business changed since the war ended?
- I think I know all I need to know.
- They don't usually attack on their own, but most of the miners won't go near them. If you could evict them, I'd be grateful.
- Sure, but I have another question.
- Oh, I'll get rid of some bats all right.
- I had a good view of your handiwork from up here. You gave me a few ideas about how I can keep this place safe and sound. Thanks for your help.
- Glad to lend a hand.
- Welcome to the fighting pit. The rules are simple: the last one standing is the winner, and if you start a fight, you finish it.
- Got it. I'm ready to fight.
- What? No. I'm leaving.
- Fighting is what I do for a living. Come on! Give me your best shot.
- You're on.
- Think you can take me? I'll grind you into the dirt.
- Welcome. I hope you're finding all the information you could possibly need and more.
- Come on! Step into the ring with me. I'm getting bored here.
- You bet!
- Zhaitan has been defeated, but its minions continue to fight inside Arah. Ogden went there to discover the secrets of the elder races.
- You look pretty strong, but I bet I could take you.
- Allow me to prove you wrong.
- We'll settle this another time.
- Yes! I've been looking for a sparring partner. You up for a scrap?
- Sure. Let's do this!
- Finally, fresh blood. I've beaten all of these guys, and I bet I could beat you.
- Who's Ogden and what elder races?
- You want to come fight me? You better be ready.
- Oh, indeed I am.
- If you're looking for a real fight, then you've come to the right place.
- Let's see how good you are.
