- Sounds like bad news. Good-bye.
- As the Brandstorm swells, the Branded creatures behave erratically. Some grow in number or become violent, but all seem almost drawn to the storm.
- Destiny's Edge is going into the City of the Gods?
- I believe they're drawn not just to the storm, but to the collection of pure Branded energy. If I could study it firsthand, I could learn more about the nature of the Dragonbrand.
- Closing energy containment
- Lifesteal when hitting a foe for more than 20%% of their max health. 60 second recharge.
- Lume Arcweld longs to understand the Brandstorm. He has successfully caused much of the brand energy to collect in one area, but the storms break out quickly and erratically. Lume has decided that the most efficient way to collect the energy is to manually carry the rods underneath the forming storms. His assistants can then give the charged rods to him so that he can collect the energy from them.
- Charge and turn in lightning rods.
- I need to capture energy from the Brandstorm. C'mere, grab a sampling device.
- These storm bursts don't last long, so move quickly!
- I have an uncharged rod. Here
- What's the plan in the long run?
- Hi, I'm filling in for the brandstorm. If you have an uncharged rod, I can exchange it for a charged one.
- Okay, you should have the charged rod now.
- It sure is. Thanks, mister!
- Well, the skills for this aren't ready yet, but here's the idea. The small brandstorms will slowly appear and do a long AOE strike at random locations in the field. You'll take an empty rod and stand in the AOE lightning. You'll have a bundle skill that makes you hold the lightning rod in the air. If you get struck by the lightning while doing this, you'll get a charged rod. Pretty cool, huh?
- Good work! This much raw energy will keep our researchers busy.
- Get this inside and see what your team can learn. And try not to singe anyone's fur this time.
- (growl) If I do, it won't be an accident.
- Look at that storm! All that energy makes the ambient static I've been collecting look like a lightning bug.
- Good thing I have these sampling devices ready. Now I just need some able hands to catch that storm.
- Ogres Have taken over the wreckage of Sapper's Delve. As long as the ogres occupy this location they will be a constant threat to Forlorn Hope and Ebon Hawke. Drive the ogres out and recapture the ruins for the Ebon Vanguard!
- Kill the ogre leaders of Sapper's Delve and hold the hill.
- Sherog the Cruel
- Matgar the Builder
- Oscroth the Loud
- Capture Ogre Hill Camp
- All right, time to evict the ogres. Saruko, get the door. We're hitting them hard and fast.
- Finally, something to blow up!
- Alessandra, you're on fire support duty.
- Understood. Just give me the signal and keep your heads down. It'll get loud.
- Max, do what you do best. Ankles and knees.
- Wait. Is it over?
- Welcome to Sapper's Delve, Commander Neal.
- Excellent work once again, Tahiri. You and your troops are to be commended.
- Just doing our jobs, sir.
- And a fine job it is. Consider yourselves relieved. Get some rest. We'll take it from here.
- We'll be ready if you need us again. Troops, you heard the commander. We are dismissed.
- A massive threat that needs to be stopped and no resources available. One of these days they'll give me a challenging assignment.
- What's the threat?
- Where are the rest of the Vanguard forces?
- I don't think I want to know your definition of "challenging."
- Since the charr all but pulled out of the area, ogres have swept in and claimed the vacant land. Each day they push in and claim just a little bit more.
- Most are at the Peace Summit up north. We have some reinforcements, but it's just a handful of us left to deal with the ogres. And that's spooking all of us here.
- What? The ogres are scaring you? How?
- The plan is simple. We move in, take out their leaders, lay claim to their camp, then signal for a garrison force from Ebonhawke to come occupy.
- Sounds like fun. Count me in!
- Count me out.
- Make it quick. We've got work to do here.
- Tell me about the ogre threat.
