- So long.
- The Inquest are a rogue group of asuran scientists who seize power without moral restraint. I don't even want to imagine what they're doing this close to the Dragonbrand.
- Of course. I'm on my way.
- There's an Order of Whispers agent named Mirayla who shares my suspicions. She's either on her way to the Inqeust base just across the gorge there or else on her way. Can you give her some support?
- Just look at you. (huff huff)
- All you...heroes.
- And here, at the center, little ol' me. Aren't you even curious about why I did it? All this chaos and destruction?
- It doesn't matter now. You're done.
- You've failed.
- I prefer going off half-cocked, so that's all the information I need.
- We need to convince the Inquest to leave, but they don't respond to reason. It'd help if you could infiltrate their facility, dispatch their operatives, and destroy their lab equipment and research data.
- I'll help. Show me where to go.
- Scald it! The Branded creatures are attacking Kinar Fort. I need to stay here so I can get word to Brandview in case the worst happens. I hope my warband is all right.
- Kinar Fort is right there. Give those Branded scum one from me.
- You guys look busy fighting Branded creatures. I'll help with the skritt.
- Looks quiet now. Why not go on the offensive while you can?
- Ugh, if it isn't the Dragonbrand trying to kill us, it's those lousy skritt skittering in, stealing anything that isn't nailed down, and skittering back out. Nothing I hate worse than skittering skritt.
- Thanks. I marked the location on your map. Those thieving rodents are just a nuisance compared to the Dragonbrand, but they need to be dealt with. We appreciate your help.
- With the Dragonbrand at our door, I can't spare the personnel. I'd appreciate if you'd reduce their numbers. I already sent Sentinel Faithcrusher to their cave to the northeast to keep an eye on things.
- Put in a hunk of meat.
- The stew in the pot is bubbling, but there's something missing. It could use more meat.
- You add the hunk of meat to the stew, now making it a meal fit for hungry soldiers.
- Donate your metal bar.
- This box is filled with scrap metal used to repair walls and weaponry. There's room in the box to donate any spare metal.
- You slide the metal bar amongst the scrap, adding to the camp's supply.
- Don't give up. You're an inspiration.
- I can't believe you actually made it back in one un-Branded piece. If there were more not so smart, but plenty brave and skilled soldiers like you, maybe we'd actually win this war.
- Thanks. Is there anything I can do to help?
- I need to keep moving. Thanks for your time.
- Looking for action? You came to the right place. Steeleye Span bridges the Brand, hovering over a metaphorical river of monsters that's flowing south. Here's hoping you can keep from drowning.
- Explorer Doldan
- "These guns have so many gears, I'm sure the one this is from wont be missing it."
—Legionnaire Sleekfur - I have 5 shiny foil candy wrappers for you.
- I'll pass, this time.
- I get a new work list every day, though to be honest, it doesn't change much. The Span requires all our attention to keep the Brand from destroying it. There's plenty to do. You still interested?
- I think so too. I'll head that way.
- Clearing grawl effigies and paintings should also help to break their morale.
- There are tunnels underneath the Span, infested with devourers—Branded devourers. We send someone down there regularly to check on things. You'd be a good fit for that job.
- I don't mind a zap or two. I'll go.
- I have 25 shiny foil candy wrappers for you.
- You wouldn't believe what Brand lightning does to fur! All that static electricity can be inconvenient, not to mention embarrassing. We put out lightning rods to ground it, but storms blow down the rods. We have to set them right.
- Local
- Wrong. Tyria will bow before a new master.
- Waves remaining
- Isn't there a fight going on down there now?
- What'd you say to him?
- Sure! I'll help.
- Sorry. You're on your own.
- That old fuddy duddy is making me clean the pit, all because I sassed him this morning. It's going to take me hours. I don't suppose you'd help me out? Place the broken weapons you find in that old barrel. Please? There are also some roughians down there who enjoy a good fight if you want to bash them around a little.
- Nice one! All right. I'll help you.
