Greer places a stacking indicator on several players. If the indicated number of players are within the circle when time runs out, the rot eruption is stabilized and only does damage. If a player is within more than one stacking circle, they are instantly killed. If there are not enough players within the circle, a rot eruption occurs and the Greerling gains 2 empowered stacks.
