- The quasi-spectral phasing array is recharging and will not function yet.
- The array is functioning, but you are already in a quasi-spectral state.
- The array is functioning. Initiate quasi-spectral state?
- The security is powering back on. Be on your toes.
- I'm ready for everything
- Long story short: imagine the world's biggest trap, and now you're standing it in. That's this place, and it's going to do everything to kill us.
- Then let's find a way out.
- Kormir's spear, I knew Kudu was up to some bizarre stuff, but that...that's a new one. Let's try to steer clear of that thing.
- Any idea what that thing was?
- Something dangerous, strong, and hostile. If we're lucky, we'll seal it in here forever when we leave.
- Sounds good to me.
- Yeah, this is what I was afraid of: anti-personnel lasers. There has to be a way to shut this off. Look for a terminal.
- This would be the perfect vacation spot for bored Whispers agents. Imagine: pitting your wits against lab-brewed monsters in a quiet getaway spot. Ah, well. A girl can dream.
- Our mission is to seal this place and escape. Focus on the mission.
- Oh, they think they can leave us to die? Fine. They won't get far. I remember faces, and I'll be paying them a visit.
- You did the right thing. They were rogue elements. This mission is tantamount. Everything else is expendable.
- They did need our help, though. And we left them to die.
- They got what's coming to them. Now make sure we don't end up like them.
- Let's go. The door is close.
- Interesting. I'll take of sample of that back to the Order. Maybe they can figure out what that was.
- So what's next?
- Hold on. I need to do something.
- We need to warn the delegation at Summit Peak that Ajax and his renegades are planning an attack.
- I'll send a message to Samuelsson. In the meantime, let's head to Summit Peak.
- What do you know about destroyers?
- They're minions of the Elder Dragon Primordus. Primordus usually animates stone into living, breathing nightmares, but these "eggs" tell me it may be learning new tricks.
- Primordus was active centuries ago, wasn't it?
- It started to wake, but a band of heroes managed to put it back to sleep. They couldn't kill it, but they were able to subdue it temporarily and buy us all more time.
- How are destroyers normally created?
- Normally, Primordus animates stone to create its minions. It must have evolved a new method while it was being dormant and quiet all these years.
- Why hasn't Primordus risen before now?
- It tried, but a band of heroes took it on just as it started to stir. They couldn't kill it, but they were able to put it back to sleep, buying us all more time to prepare.
- Let's not waste that time, then.
- That's not normal, is it?
- Not at all. Primordus usually creates destroyer minions directly out of stone. We've heard rumors about destroyer "eggs" before, though. That must be what we have here.
- What's Primordus's story?
- It started to wake up centuries ago, but a band of heroes managed to put it back to sleep. They weren't able to kill it, but they bought Tyria more time to prepare.
- Hats off to them, then. Let's keep going.
