- The Seraph were moving airships, troops, and supplies here to clear the fort of bandits, but it'd already been abandoned. Something else scared them off first.
- What happened?
- Be cautious if you plan to enter the Incinergen lab. You never know what to expect inside.
- Why? What kind of thing might I expect?
- As I said, you never know.
- Thanks for the...uh...vague warning.
- Exercise caution if you intend to enter the Incingergen lab. One never knows what to expect.
- I have learned to always expect the unexpected.
- It is the best way to escape the inescapable. The Order is watching all of labs in this area. We're concerned since we know that each is experimenting with potentially cataclysmic forces of nature.
- Good "cataclysmic" or bad "cataclysmic"?
- If things go right, we want to be here to reap the benefits of their research. If things go wrong, then at least we will have given our lives for a noble cause.
- Good to know the Order has all bases covered.
- Be cautious if you plan to enter the Incinergen lab. You never know what to expect with these asuran research facilities.
- I have learned it is best to always expect the unexpected.
- Yes, that is the best way to escape the inescapable. The major asuran golem labs are all clustered in this area. Each is conducting experiments involving potentially cataclysmic forces.
- Who are these bandits?
- It's not often we see new faces up here, with all the narrow passes and hostile creatures.
- I pride myself on surviving the unsurvivable.
- I try to be careful in bad neighborhoods. Good-bye.
- Interesting. Thanks.
- That explains how you were able to reach the unreachable. The Order has sent me here to investigate rumors that Calx's Hideout may be somewhere in this area.
- Calx's Hideout?
- Calx was one of the Technimagical Triad. His research on magical frequencies led to the development of modern asura gating. His lab was somewhere in this area, but the exact location has been lost to time.
- Why is finding Calx's lab so important?
- The belief is that Calx's experiments opened a fissure in the ground that belched out hordes of destroyers. There's an asura researcher named Parnna who may be close to finding an entrance to his lab.
- Wouldn't that be a great discovery?
- Reopenning Calx's lab may also reopen the fissure and allow more destroyers to escape. If anyone is smart enough and stupid enough to open that can of wurms, the Order wants to get first crack at it.
- I'll keep an eye out and see if I can see the unseeable.
- We already did that part.
- Oh, right. Sorry.
- Hello. What brings you all the way up here to Dr. Bleent's Encampment?
- I consider it a challenge to find the unfindable.
- I'm just exploring.
- They're still investigating. Apparently there were a lot of vines around, but it looked like the bandits decided to flee instead of fight—and in a hurry.
- I admire those who seek to achieve the unachievable. I've been dispatched to keep an eye on Dr. Bleent and his experiments with ooze essences.
- Dr. Bleent just seems like an odd sort. Why shadow him?
- He was kicked out of PR&T Esoterics for his illegal experiments. How odd does one have to be to be rejected by that krewe of ooze-fanatics. Besides, we monitor all odd behavior. "Odd" is usually suspicious.
- Has he done anything particularly suspicious?
- Anyone who prefers the company of oozes to intelligent life is suspicious. And "suspicious" is usually dangerous. The Order likes to keep an eye on all dangerous individuals. Because "dangerous" is usually a dire threat.
- I'm glad to know the Order remains vigilent.
- They call themselves the Sinister Triad, but I think that's a cover. The things they left behind—journals, old weapons, tattered white robes—don't sit right. For an alliance of crooks, they operate too smoothly.
- We're glad you're here, Commander. How can I assist you?
- Enchanted Spider Web
- What's our plan of attack?
- The Silverwastes: a haggard and treacherous desert. But we think it might have once been a great forest.
- Some of the Priory scholars believe Mordremoth has leeched this land of its magic, leaving it in this state.
- I do. Mordremoth's corruption sprouts jungle, not desert. I suspect something else ruined this place.
- Thanks. That will be all.
- You need a completed potion to test on this subject.
- Mordremoth's minions are spilling out of the regions south and west of here. At this location, we're near the action, but far enough to be safe.
