- He hasn't been tried yet. My job is to see that he is.
- We'll be ready for that test as soon as I set up a working prototype. Let's go.
- Me? Hah, nope! I'm Luccia Wildeye. My warband's retired—or dead—but I'm a lot more stubborn than they were. I'm just an old gladium puttering around here to pass the time.
- I'm here to get some parts. Mind if I scavenge a few?
- Say again? Parts? Oh sure, scrounge away. Plenty to go around. Just watch out—sometimes oozes get into those barrels, and they'll bite you if you wake 'em up.
- Thanks...I mean, THANKS.
- Heh. You don't have to shout, cub. I'm not THAT deaf.
- Got it. Thanks, Luccia.
- Banner of Tactics
- Gain adrenaline every second.
- Big battle out in Gastor Gullet wrecked my warband. Some died, some too injured to stay in active service. They retired. I ended up here, and I've been on my own ever since.
- I'm ready. I've had my fill of scrapyards and scavengers. I'm ready to be a predator again.
- Good to hear it. Let's move out.
- Experience, yes. Wisdom—eh, maybe yes, maybe no. You're in charge. I'll just help out where I can.
- Ask away, cub —er, boss!
- Let's get out of here. We've got work to do.
- "Keeping your hands clean in war can be difficult."
—Supply Sergeant Mattimer - Your world placed third in its league.
- Ugh. Gruntwork. Let's get it done, and get a move on.
- Definitely. Let's hurry.
- That deaf, old charr's a curmudgeon, but if she knows how to fight Flame Legion, then she's useful.
- Hold the line, and we'll ask her later.
- Nice trick with the cannon. Maybe we should take the gladium along with the scrap.
- Exactly what I was thinking.
- Now our warband's three strong, and we've got a new engineer to boot. This is a good start.
- So you think Luccia will be a good addition?
- Agreed. Let's go talk to the tribune.
- Some idiots say older means shorter fangs. If they said that to her, I bet she'd rip their tails off. I respect that.
- Heh! I'd like to see that. C'mon, the tribune's waiting.
- Who is Koda?
- Koda is the primal spirit who guides all kodan. His representatives, the Claw and the Voice, are chosen to receive and interpret his wishes. In this camp, we have no Claw, no Voice. We are just ourselves.
- Your team's falling behind.
- My experiences in this new land have shaken me to my core. I must find balance within before I can move forward with Koda's purpose.
- Tell me more about Koda.
- Now your team's pulling ahead!
- No matter how many sanctuaries or encampments we are split among, all kodan are bound by the will of Koda. Any more than that, I doubt you would understand.
- The blue lord's been slain.
- These magically animated effigies are colossal wicker monstrosities crafted by Flame Legion shamans.
- They have a charr-like appearance and are perpetually burning with a magical fire that grants them power and mobility, making them portable and destructive weapons.
- Flame Legion effigies are highly dangerous. Their mere presence alone invigorates Flame Legion troops. This secondary function is a boon to the Flame Legion and gives them a terrifying edge when effigies are present on the battlefield.
- Brought south by Knut Whitebear for a Great Hunt, Issormir loosed its fury on all of the would-be slayers.
- In the Song of Final Exile, I was lost and alone, unable to move forward or to help those around me. I'm much better off here.
- What is the Song of Final Exile?
- It looks like our orders are to push further into this blasted continent. We'll move when the time is right.
- It's a land-sanctuary southeast of here, near what you call Valslake. Our Voice and Claw led us there, but I couldn't make it my home—not with this inbalance in my heart.
- Heal Effectiveness
- (cackle)
- It'd be an honor, Warmaster.
- We need to secure this camp!
