• The book is a dredge manifesto, heavily annotated by a sarcastic Flame Legion soldier. It includes comments like "Dredge are so ugly. It took us weeks to notice some were female."
• This is a letter written in the blocky script that dredge favor.
• It is a strongly worded missive from a female dredge to her commissar protesting Flame Legion treatment of their females and warning against any attempts to adopt similar antifemale policies.
• This weapon seems to be an early prototype combining dredge technology with Flame Legion magic.
• Charred metal bits indicate that this prototype had problems with parts exploding. It would not have been a fun weapon to wield.
• This looks like a redrawn version of an ancient map of the human city of Rin, over which the Black Citadel was built.
• The map is marked with scribbles and circles that suggest troop movements. It is impossible to tell if these invasion plans are recent.
• This crude drawing depicts a dredge attempting to use Flame Legion magic and instead burning himself to death.
• From the burns and dried blood spots on the paper, it seems that not everyone found this sketch terribly funny.

• This is a good place to start, either here or in the Black Citadel. There are also scouts in Diessa Plateau and Wayfarer Foothills who can tell you which areas are most vulnerable.
