- Carry on then. Good-bye.
- Use dynamic shadows for nearby objects and enable shadows for spotlights.
- The Pact continues its advancement into Orr, establishing a base beneath the ruined temple of Lyssa. A command post in that location would be a critical foothold in the war against Zhaitan.
- In my Dream, I saw a city that never stops moving. A city built entirely from metal. After much questioning and searching, I found this citadel. It's breathtaking. But tragic.
- Why do you find it tragic?
- Why do you say tragic?
- I mean no offense. But when I think of all the plants, trees, and flowers that died to make room for this place...I cannot help but feel pain.
- But progress requires sacrifice.
- That's all I needed. Good-bye.
- It saddens me to see how much vegetation had to die to make room for this structure. It's the same in Divinity's Reach, but humans usually make an effort to replace what they uproot.
- It's only sensible. Good-bye.
- So they tell me. But, it still makes my heart wilt.
- Stop. Approach no further. You're in the presence of the Al'Seen. Show him your respect.
- What's wrong with you?
- I joined Trahearne, Professor Gorr, and Scholar Vivian aboard a Pact airship to conduct tests on the dead Eye of Zhaitan without endangering anyone in Fort Trinity. We established that the Eye literally sees for Zhaitan, and we saw horrific images from Orr. We identified another monstrous creature called the Mouth of Zhaitan and agreed that if the Eye finds food for the dragon, then the Mouth must consume it. We set out for Orr itself to prevent the Mouth from providing sustenance to Zhaitan.
- I prefer to show him my backside. So long.
- The Al'Seen is perfect in every facet. He needs nothing and is nothing, and yet, he is everything!
- Enlighten me, deluded one. What's an Al'Seen?
- Then you don't need me. Bye.
- Fool! You stand before him! Have you not eyes? Have you not senses? Can you not feel the heat of his radiance?
- I'm sensing some hot air. Care to show me the light?
- All I see is a crazy Ascalonian spouting nonsense.
- Maybe I can feel it from further away. Bye.
- His Greatness will not tolerate your presence any longer. Begone from my sight, insolent fool.
- Triktiki Omelet
- It was prophecied over three hundred years ago: an Elonian, long from home, living beneath steel, would rise and lead his people back to the Crystal Desert.
- So, I'm guessing you think you're this great hero?
- I met with Marshal Trahearne and decided the Pact's next step was to cut off the supply of dead bodies that Zhaitan corrupts into soldiers for its army.
- My going was prophecied just now. Bye.
- Perhaps there's hope for the heathens who plague this metal monstrosity. When the moment arrives for me to lead my people home, I may allow you to travel with us.
- You're aware the Crystal Desert is barren, right?
- I'm afraid you'll have to go without me. So long.
- They fled when the pretender Palawa Joko conquered the land. When the Elder Dragons rose, the rest were driven north to Ascalon.
- You belong with squirrels. Squirrels like nuts.
- Not much to be proud of, eh? See ya.
- The Al'Seen will make it fruitful again. All will bow to me, be it that pretender Palawa Joko or the Elder Dragons. The Al'Seen will be loved. The Al'Seen will become the ultimate.
- Well, it's good to have goals. Good-bye.
- Approach cautiously, friend, and state your intentions clearly. I have little patience today.
- I'm looking for answers.
- So talk. Fast. What do you want?
- I'm Praga Fiendhaunt, and I'm a gladium. You got a problem with that?
- Composite Test Map - Seraph, Lionguard, Orders
- Are you gladium by choice or circumstance?
- The stories don't do this place justice. Some call the Gladium Canton "The Shallows." Others call it "The Gallows." As you can clearly see, only the finest reside here.
- I can understand why you might be bitter.
- It means my warband is dead, and I'm the sole survivor. It also means I was the unlucky one.
- Are all gladium like you?
- I should kill you on the spot for suggesting I'd leave my warband. My fellow warband members are gone, but they watch me from the Mists. So I make certain to do nothing that would dishonor them.
- How do you go on?
- Good. Stay strong.
