It is a mistake that many make to say that hunters are damaging nature. After all, are we not part of nature? When we tracked a deer by endurance alone, claiming it only when exhaustion overtook it, with nothing but our bare hands, were we not part of nature then? Why then would a bow of wood and animal sinew make us unnatural? The hunt is not about the desecration of nature but the celebration of our history and our traditions. So long as we do not overhunt or act cruelly in taking our prey, we are not doing a dishonorable thing. We are a part of the same cycle as our prey, and it's best we never forget that.
