- Spoil sport. Fine. We've scouted this area fairly well, but there are blind spots we have yet to explore. You won't find many allies in this area, I'll tell you that.
- What do you mean? What legacy?
- The thrum of footfalls as Dwayna's priestesses marched through here in the Procession of Lights, from the plaza all the way to Doric's Shrine. Gives me chills.
- Coming face to face with history is always interesting.
- They're dead, and you're lucky they're not ghosts, trying to kill you.
- Those were the days, hm? Life was simpler back then.
- Take your chills somewhere else. I've got work to do.
- Very much so. Close your eyes and imagine the lights, the swish of fabrics, the warm voices raised in praise to their goddess. It's exhilarating. I wish I'd been there.
- Now look at it. It's all destroyed.
- I must go. Good-bye.
- That's why I prefer to study the past. The present holds nothing of beauty or interest.
- That's a noble goal. I'm sure you won't be forgotten.
- I suppose I am. You sound like you've seen your fair share of ghosts. The closest I come are the undead that roam these wretched lands.
- Even after I'm gone, my kindness and love will be remembered. That's something I can leave for my son, even when I can't be there for him.
- When I heard the Molten Alliance had stirred up trouble here, I grabbed my hammer and came to help. I couldn't sit by while good people lost their homes.
- Well, you can bet it isn't for the beaches.
- Hiralyn
- So true! Back then, the worst we had to worry about was some petulant god knocking a few people on their tushes. These days, the whole world could go up in flames tomorrow.
- I wish I'd lived back then.
- Speaking of which, I'd better go.
- You can never go back, friend, but you can certainly pine for the good ol' days.
- So true. So true.
- Love your armor. You make that yourself? Stay out here too long, and everything falls apart. I'm wearing so much hand-me-down armor, I can't get my limbs to coordinate with each other.
- Have you been here a long time?
- Stiff upper lip and all that.
- This site experienced not one, not two, but three cataclysmic events. The Searing destroyed the city of Ascalon. Adelbern's Foefire destroyed the Ascalonian people, and the dragon destroyed the land itself.
- You could say that. We're stationed in Magic Central, but it isn't all pretty sparkles and happy dancing lights. There's some dark mojo out here, no matter which way you turn.
- King Adelbern has called the city together to make an announcement. The Vanguard are ordered to appear in full dress uniform. Uncertainty ripples through the unit, but this does not diminish their pride.
- And spoil the surprise? I'll just say that if you head north, don't be fooled by gold. Head anywhere else, and watch out for the farm animals. They're not for eating.
- Examine the carving.
- Take care.
- And you are?
- Crudely carved by any artist's standards, this statues shows little innate talent. And yet, the passion with which it was sculpted is evident. The sculptor carved tiny words in the stone.
- All right, show me the elixirs.

- It says, "Dwayna 2. Dedicated to her beauty and sweetness. Work your magics through my hands, and I will raise a statue in your honor that will shame even your priestesses." The signature reads, "Malchor."
- The marks on this statue have a manic, swirling pattern. The mind of its creator was either brilliant or insane. The sculptor carved what appear to be words in the block.
- A random unlocked finisher will play each time you finish a downed enemy.
- Randomize Finisher
- It says, "And again, Dwayna, and again, and again, until I have captured your beauty, you. You will be mine! You will be MINE!" A scrawled letter "M" is the only other thing carved there.

- If you've come looking for peace and quiet, you're lucky. This is one of those rare momentary breaks in the chaos.

- I wish I could stay long enough to enjoy it with you.

- I suppose one could call it mourning. For all the living things that once occupied this dwelling, both people and plants.
- You can't have known the people who lived here 250 years ago.
- Show Locked
- You wouldn't know it now, but the Priory scholars say this area used to be a most breathtaking assemblage of rare and exotic plants from all corners of the world. A sort of plant sanctuary.
- And there's nothing left of them?
