- Give us a good show.
- Place your bets.
- Clean up in lane six!
- Ha! Listen to that metal twist.
- Drag that thing to the scrapyard.
- What's with the face? You look like you've never seen a charr in a homestead before.
- I've just never seen a charr herd dolyak.
- Splendid Chest
- I will follow your lead.
- It's no big deal. 'Bye.
- I wrangled marmoxes back in Diessa Plateau. Dolyaks are hairier and smellier but more or less the same.
- How did you end up here?
- I suppose so.
- The Molten Alliance burned down my outpost, killing my warband. I became a gladium and a refugee. The Citadel treated me like scum, so I came here. In Cragstead, I'm respected. I'm equal.
- Why Cragstead over Southsun Cove?
- Yes. Very much yes.
- That cannot be.
- (laugh) Incorrigible.
- Proceed in that direction.
- I hate sand. Mats up my fur, makes me sweat. Plus, Cragstead brews its own specialty beer. It's no charr whiskey, but that stout of theirs smacks of home.
- I see. Good-bye.
- Mithril Bludgeon
- Elder Quarterstaff
- Um...hmmm.
- What happened here?
- What? Oh.
- You have a nice face.
- Many thanks.
- Thanks.
- The mucking Molten Alliance dropped in through their portals and almost leveled our homestead. Lots of my friends died in the fight.
- Such a shame.
- Sorry for your loss.
- Great. I've been helping Yngvi. We've got new folks moving in, too, refugees from all around. And did I tell you I found Ottilia?
- Oh joy!
- Excellent.
- A passel of dredge and Flame charr decided it was a good idea to join forces. They built up weapon caches, then started taking territory without mercy. We stopped them, so don't worry.
- Who knows? I find it hard to believe they came up with the idea themselves. Neither group is the first of the litter to find the teat, if you know what I mean.
- I hear you.
- Very good. We found each other in Hoelbrak after the fighting had ended. We traveled back to Cragstead together.
- Nicely done.
- She sent a message saying she'd like to see me, but I don't see the point. Why now, after all these years? Has she gotten tired of fighting dragons? I doubt it.
- Well, if it isn't my friend %str1%. I'm happy to see you. Look around! We've done some work on rebuilding Cragstead.
- I see that. How are you?
- Have you seen your mother?
- So I see. Be well, my friend.
- Maybe, but I have to fight my own fights. I can't fight hers. She left to fight them, and she can have them!
- Don't even think about it.
- I believe it's time to go.
- You have forced my hand.
- I don't know.
