- Not my style.
- I had to move my garden out here since the Separatists around Nageling aren't so careful about what they trample. The devourers that used to be here are gone, but there's still plenty of work to do.
- What are you growing out here?
- When submitting a bug for review, please be sure to do so as close to the source of the issue as possible, as your location will provide important information when reproducing the issue.
- You've got serious dredge troubles, eh?
- Yeah. They're trying to take over the world—they and everbody else, it seems. They're overcompensating for all that time they were slaves of the dwarves.
- So, was Meatoberfest your idea?
- Who remembers? Meatoberfest is one of our biggest festivals here on the Diessa Plateau. It draws revelers from all over the area. Next year is our tenth year!
- What do you know about the Ascalon Wall?
- Separatists, huh?
- I know it's rubble, just like the humans who used to live in its shade. Now, if you want to hear a good story, let me tell you about Althea. We named our camp after her.
- You mentioned separatists?
- No time. Gotta go.
- Yeah, you know. Human troublemakers that can't move on—bunch of stuck lugs, if you ask me. They do what they can to sabotage us, but it just makes us mad.
- The lid can't be moved.
- Redreave Mill is the oldest of the three mills in Diessa Plateau. It's also the closest to the Black Citadel, which means that we were the principal wood supplier during its construction.
- What happens around here?
- You might say Nolan's a community built around a fahrar. It used to be a human wizarding school, but now we train cubs here. We moved in and made it our own.
- What else goes on around here?
- Separatists aren't so hard to handle.
- What's your strategy?
- Nah. They're on the lower end of the intellectual stick, it's true. They just don't get that you have to change with the times, and that makes them predictable.
- My orders are to observe and report on the separatist base camp over there. Until I receive new instructions, I can't enter their camp.
- What is the Flame Legion doing here?
- Spreading and destroying—what fire typically does. They've got a base near here, and best we can tell, they plan to burn south and southwest, turning everything in their path to rubble.

- The Ebonshore water processing plant is run by the Iron Legion. At our peak, we process hundreds of gallons of water a day.
- The trees in this area produce the hardest wood in Tyria. Some say it's because the Searing burned all but the heartiest plants to the roots. These trees sprouted from the few stumps that remained.
- I tell ya, when are they gonna learn to just leave well enough alone? If it ain't broke, don't break it.
- I've claimed trophies from everything that walks, crawls, swims, and flies...but not from you. At least, not today.
- They're assaulting our southeast gate!
- Back when I was a cub, this used to be the Bulliyak Estates. Beautiful walls and statuary from the greatest charr artists. Nothing left of that stonework now but the gravel here under our feet.
- My sire and dame used to work the fields for the estate's owners. But then came the changes, and the property was reduced to this.
- I am Lieutenant Drover of the Lionguard. Welcome to Charrgate Haven.
- What's the Lionguard?
- What does the Lionguard do?
- What's a Haven?
- We uphold the laws of commerce as the Captain's Council in Lion's Arch interpret them. Lion's Arch has rules, just like anyplace else. We just enforce them with a little more gusto.
- What is the Lionguard?
- Afraid
- I'll let you get back to your work, then.
- Havens are small outposts scattered throughout the inland, built and maintained by the Lionguard, as places where weary travelers and mechants can seek shelter and provisions on their journeys.
- Player versus Player competition in the Mists
- Rebel Alexsei
- The Lionguard is the friend of those who support free and open trade. Our membership is open to any race or gender. so long as they are willing to impose the idea of free and open trade on others.
- It's been nice talking to you. Good-bye.
- It's almost a shame Scarlet got killed. I'm getting used to the fresh air. Maybe I'll move to Cornucopian Fields after this.
- The hylek will learn not to mess with this haven!
- I can see for miles up here. You're not afraid of heights, are you?
- I just appreciate heights more from the bottom looking up. Why are you here?
