- It's no use. The air here is toxic.
- These waters are tainted. It will take a long time before this area is cleansed.
- It's the Orrian undead, right?
- The Orrians flowed out of Orr and are pushing north. They have killed many of our tribes. They will kill your tribes too, if you let them get to your homelands. You understand, yes? You don't fight for us. You fight for yourselves.
- I brought along some hazmat rigs modified (cough) for just this sort of work.
- These hylek aren't the most organized, but they're ready and willing to take the fight to the undead.
- As we all should be.
- Tequatl's Fingers
- %num1%/%num2% Secret Room Successfully Entered
- Quickly gain access to Scarlet's secret room.
- Tequatl must be stopped before we're overrun! Get to those cannons or take the fight to the dragon!
- Brisban Wildlands
- Cooperate with the Seraph, and they might be lenient with you.
- You deserve to be arrested, Chakravarti. Don't play innocent.
- You're right. I'll do that. It's what Wriggly would have wanted.
- I'm sure it is.
- You're right, of course. I'm so ashamed of myself.
- Think about that while you rot in jail.
- Oh yeah? Give it a try anytime you want, Boris. I'll be waiting.
- Examine it with a trained eye.
- Several inscriptions appear under trained scrutiny.
- Hello, %str1%. Welcome to the front line. This wall is the only thing standing between us and the dragons' corruption.
- I'm here for the action. Good-bye.
- The water and land beyond the wall are ripe with Zaitan's undead. They're migrating north and destroying everything in their path.
- I'll pass.
- We've drawn a line in the sand, so to speak. This wall is that line. We refuse to let the vast undead advance any further. We weaken their numbers with each enemy we drop.
- Are there no plans to advance?
- MONSTER ONLY Hylek Spear
- Of course. We have units moving west and north from here. They will form pincers that—if both are successful—will come together to close off the area and make it ours.
- That's sound strategy. Good luck.
- Our gardeners imagined and encouraged it to grow. It is a living wall. All the more reason to protect it.
- Aren't you going to advance?
- Thank you for explaining. Good-bye.
- Look carefully.
- Examine the cracks.
- Use chalk to reveal what's hidden.
- One inscription is barely visible. It says, "Blood warband was here. (1090)"
- Look harder.
- The remnants of a small, carved figure hides deep inside a crevice in the wall. Once the cobwebs are removed, it's clear that the figure was once a tiny human doll.
- Wall 1
- Wall 2
- Wall 3
- Wall 4
- Examine the doll.
- It requires special skill to discern the letters, but there's a list marked into the wall, a series of human names. Above the list, it says, "In Memorium."
- Look around more.
- The doll was carved in hard oak. If, at one time, the doll wore clothing or had hair, it has long since disintegrated. All evidence indicates that someone small-handed tucked the doll in the hole—to keep it safe.
- Apply trained scrutiny.
- This inscription doesn't appear to be more than 100 years old. It's not hard to deduce that it was a legion soldier, probably one on patrol here, who took time out to carve a snide comment.
