- We underestimated them, and now they've taken the town. We need to take it back!

- I knew those hylek would attack the hamlet. The local wardens evacuated everyone, but they won't be enough to take the entire Morgatl tribe. The villagers are safe here, but I don't want to end up hosting them all.
- I can help. Where to?
- Looks like you don't have a choice.
- Northeast. If you make it in time, the wardens there could use the help. Hurry, though; I'll run out of food if I have to take care of these villagers for too long.
- I warned them not to settle so close to Morgatl Grounds. Those Morgatl hylek are vicious beasts. But no, now everyone's been chased out of Annwen, and I have to support all of these refugees until it's safe.
- I'll drive the hylek out.
- Ugh, I hate frogs.
- These hylek may be more vicious than you think. Even so, it'd be a great help to me if you could. Annwen's northeast of here. Listen for croaking and the sounds of battle.
- Northeast. Croaking. Got it.
- We should have listened to cranky old Eryd. He knew building so close to the Morgatl hylek would be no end of trouble. But, there are a lot of good people here, so we just have to make the best of things.
- Can't the Lionguard help?
- Are the hylek really so bad?
- They do, on occasion, but there are too few of them at Kraitbane Haven for us to rely on them. They've been good to us, but we can only expect so much. I just wish we could get more wardens up here.
- Are the hylek that bad?
- The Morgatl hylek are. They're the most vicious tribe in the area. I hear the Hazupl and Zopatl tribes aren't so bad. At least they usually won't attack on sight. They're still not always friendly, though.
- I moved up here years ago, back when Kraitbane Haven was just a watchpost and Annwen was still open land. I knew the Morgatl hylek would be a problem when they built Annwen, but nobody would listen.
- Why are the hylek a problem?
- Kraitbane Haven was a watchpost?
- You wanted to live alone?
- I freed my children from that terrible affliction. I have made sure they will return one day as strong and true kodan.
- These hylek are vicious and territorial. It was a bad idea to settle so close to them. There are friendly hylek tribes out there, but the Morgatl tribe doesn't even come close.
- You mentioned Kraitbane Haven?
- Why move up here by yourself?
- Yeah. The Lionguard had a watchpost down here to keep an eye on the Grove and see what we did. Once they realized we were friendly, they were happy to make it a haven and add to their trade routes.
- And the hylek problem?
- You moved up here by yourself?
- Nice history lesson. Good-bye.
- I wanted to search for my own path without being influenced by those around me. I'm not Soundless like the folks at the Weeping Isle; I just wanted to be sure anything I did was for my own reasons.
- So, about the hylek...
- You were here before Kraitbane Haven?
- I hope that's worked well for you. Good-bye.
- I've heard reports of major hylek activity in the region, particularly around the Hamlet of Annwen. They've got a few wardens there, but that won't be enough if the hylek attack in force. Can you check in on them?
- Anything to help.
- We usually have a steady stream of traders out of Annwen coming through the haven, but I haven't seen any recently. I wonder if something's happened. They have a pretty aggressive hylek tribe as neighbors...
- Fire a rocket out of your belt that explodes on impact.
- I guess.
- Welcome to Kraitbane Haven. From here, the Lionguard helps secure this leg of the Lion Road and as much of the nearby area as we can manage.
- How's that been going?
- Thanks for the welcome. Take care.
- Well, we've got the road secure. I wish we had more guards to help the locals, especially the folks over at Annwen. They have a lot of hylek trouble over there. We help as much as we can, though.
- Why not just station Lionguards there?
- Even if we had the manpower, they've already got wardens there. It's outside our jurisdiction; we wouldn't want to step on their toes. We keep the road safe for them and try to help when they ask.
- That's better than nothing.
- Annwen has fallen and the settlers driven from their homes. Venture into Annwen and strike down the Hylek that have overtaken the village.
- Liberate the Hamlet of Annwen from hylek invaders.
- Hylek Defenders Remaining
- Morgatl hylek morale: %num1%%%
- The hylek are retreating, sir.
