• The renegades are a sign of what's to come. The charr leadership is weak, and their people will not stand for peace.
• The harpies are brutal. Most villagers that are taken are never heard from again. I have to say I feel a little bad about attacking their nests.
• What about the charr in your group?
• I've watched too many of my friends die to have any trust in peace. Mark my words, this insignificant peace will end with bloodshed, just like the last 200 years. The charr are bred of hate. That hasn't changed. I can't even look at a charr without tasting blood. Now they expect me to defend them?
• I'm not used to seeing charr up close, I must admit I'm a bit scared.

• I still can't trust a charr. After what's happened around here, I don't know how anyone can. Even under the queen's orders, it's hard to stand by while charr wander through our camp. Peace is just a guise to get into Ebonhawke.

• The treaty makes sense. As humans we need to focus on the centaurs, even if some are still bitter and resentful to the charr. I'm all for the treaty. But why do we have to fight beside them?

• So inspiring, to see charr in a Vanguard camp without death threats hanging in the air. I'm not afraid like I used to be. Hopefully this is a sign of peace, not our naivety. I'm just glad I lived to see peace grow in these barren lands.

• Harpies are like charr without warbands. They fight thinking only of themselves, and they fail. Hmph, the Ebon Vanguard is killing harpies with us. But do they know that'll just gives us back our lands?
