- For battle. They might not look it, but trained war devourers can fight just as hard and as long as any charr in the field. And I train them to be ready for deployment.

- I run war devourers from Scalecatch Village to the Sentinels. Let me tell you, those Sentinels are always happy to see my muzzle. It's like I'm bringing them fresh mobile infantry.
- Is that what this place is? Some sort of holding pen?

- Yeah, devourers are a vital part of the war effort. I lost count how many times they've helped us in battle. I'm sure they'll do the same here.

- I'm sure they will.
- They're sturdy, but they ain't invincible. It takes time to raise them and train them right. With any luck, the village will supply use with a new batch of recruits.
