• They perform their important tasks, minding the perimeter, fighting off the flame, but fumes cause a malaise that has led to basic tasks being overlooked.

• They've stopped training and tending to general maintainence. There're gears and rats all over the place!

• Obviously killing Flame Legion and tar elementals would be a big help. But just as important, we have to organize the scrap, take care of our rodent problem, and kick the troops tails into shape.

• Drown the Flame Legion! It's not enough that they're always around, singeing our fur, but now they've brought along a swarm of magical creatures too. How are we supposed to hold Severed Breach like this?

• Maybe I should go take care of some of them.
• You'll find Flame Legion power sources all over this ridge. They're tied to those embers. It's not enough to kill the creatures, though we have to do that too. It's most important that we power down those nodes.
• Rawscoul and Roteye could probably use help down at the base. They spend so much time tinkering with their cannons they neglect needed repairs. Can't say I blame them. They're constantly fighting off Flame Legion.

• Eventually, we'll have to deal with these fire creatures, but right now, Koloss needs our help. He's got a more pressing problem.

• I could convince Shaman Shoba to fight at the Castrum if I could speak with him. All he ever does is fawn over those wretched harpies. I'm worried he'll do something rash, like try to cozy up to the monsters.

• As unpleasant as our circumstances may be, we have our orders: retrieve the artifacts.
• Shoba and his fellow shamans have learned magic that counters certain Flame Legion spells—probably from living so close to the Flame Legion for so long. His help would be a huge boon to our efforts at the Castrum.
