- Well? If you're standing here, you're not killing murellows. Aren't you in a hurry?
- I am, but before I go, got any advice for dealing with them?
- Yes, but I want to know more about murellows first.
- You're right. I'd better get started.
- They usually stick to their deep cave network. I've never seen this many so close to the surface...food must be getting scarce below. I blame the skritt.
- Have you tried dealing with them yourself?
- Is there anything special I should watch out for?
- Any advice on how to fight them on their own turf?
- What do skritt have to do with murellows?
- Ha! Not on your life. Raven blessed me with smarts, so I became a merchant. That way, I can hire folks like you to do the job, and everybody benefits. Except the murellows.
- Right. Thanks for the info. I'll get started now.
- Diseases! They're riddled with every pox, ailment, and affliction you can think of. They can infect a whole haven just by walking through it. It's even worse if they bite or scratch you.
- Bleah. Thanks for the warning. I'd better get started.
- Well, the mushrooms in there release a cloud of spores when you smack them. Lure a pack of murellows over to a mushroom, and they'll be easy pickings.
- Tell me more about the murellows themselves.
- Good advice. Thanks. I'll put it to good use.
- Good work, and thanks again. That token I gave you will be all the proof you need. Good luck in the semifinals!
- Where do I present the token for the next round of the Big Brawl?
- Thanks. I just hope my next opponent smells better than this one. See you around.
- Near the village of Butcher's Block. Talk to Balteus Bloodletter, and don't let him talk your ears off. He's real chatty for a charr, that one.
- Got it. Thanks.
- I'll tell you the same thing I told the Slayer: be careful in there. Murellows don't like people, and they smell worse than pooping dolyaks on fire.
- Don't worry. I came looking for trouble, and I can handle myself.
- You really love that dog, don't you?
- Varg has Dragon's favor. He's been transformed.
- It's that horn he has. He can summon all sorts of beasts with it. Dragon must be impressed with Varg's cunning.
- Cunning? Ha! He won that horn cheating at dice. Dragon was impressed with that.
- These creatures are not natural.
- Varg must have summoned them with the horn. Finish them quickly!
- We must find Varg. Every time he uses the horn, he leaves destruction in his wake. He has to be stopped.
- Trust me, we'll find him and stop him.
- This is the place. The corruption I feel comes from this site. Varg must be near.
- Good. Then the horn must also be near.
- You surprise me, Slayer. The horn is your link to your ancestor. I didn't think you'd abandon what you could preserve.
- This is what I have to do. I think Romke would understand my choice.
- This is a weighty decision. Perhaps I need to think about it some more.
- A brave choice, and one the kodan won't like. The horn might be dangerous, but we can make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
- Romke's legacy is important to the norn, and to me. I know now that I have to protect it.
- The horn could be a threat. I'll need to think about this some more.
- You are Romke's descendant, so the choice must be yours. Honor your ancestor and keep the horn, or respect the wishes of the kodan and destroy it.
- I share the kodan's concern. The horn is dangerous. Heirloom or no, it has to be destroyed.
- The horn is my legacy, and an important part of my ancestor's legend. I can't destroy that.
- We need to know the lay of the land before we push further in.
- The Slayer has a difficult choice to make. Heritage or security? I do not envy anyone faced with that decision.
- I trust the Slayer to decide wisely.
- The horn must be destroyed. Even if it's used for good, the balance will still be disrupted.
- I understand. Both options must be weighed carefully.
- I support you in this. The horn was the last legacy of one of the greatest norn heroes of legend, but it was still too dangerous to be kept.
- Thank you for believing in me, Eir. It was not an easy choice.
- I can't argue with your decision. Kodan or no kodan, Romke was a great hero and his legacy must be preserved. Prove yourself by keeping it safe as he did, and your own legend will grow.
