One of the other teams came rushing toward us with clammy fur. Apparently they heard whispers beneath the murk. Rattled enough that we called off the harvest until tomorrow's first light. - Second day of the Crimson Horizon, my twenty-third waymark: Caught a glimpse of what looked like a golden wolf during my hunt this morning. Chased it as far south as I was comfortable treading, but I lost sight of it. More observation needed, but I'm keen on calling it the "golden howler." - Eighteenth day of the Bitter Wind, my twenty-fourth waymark: I saw it just across the clearing... Part troll, part crow. Talons the size of a cub. Flew off before I could pursue. I'm calling it the "crow-footed skulker." - Twenty-first day of the Springtime Current, my thirty-third waymark: Whispers of a four-legged creature with long, eel-like hair wandering through the shallow parts of the bay. No sightings myself, but I promptly called it the "eel-haired lurker." - Tenth day of the Burning Sun, my thirty-fifth waymark: The crow-footed skulker has returned! This time in the uplands. Not valravn. Whatever these came from is much larger. - Twelfth day of the Burning Sun, my thirty-fifth waymark: Stirred awake by strange scraping sounds on top of my homestead. Walked from one end of the roof to the other. Could this be the skulker again?
