These gatherings, though attended for lighthearted pleasure, eventually manifested into a sort of peace summit between the two races. Though they were not without a minor brouhaha or two (see: The Great Drunken Debauchery of Sven Liefson), these celebrations served as a strong foundation for peaceful norn/human relations well into the modern day.
