I met with the chieftain of Agrak Kraal, an ogre named Lagula. She told us the kraal's previous chieftain, Uldek, went missing in the Brand, and so did the search party they sent in after him. My mentor and I agreed to enter the Brand and find out what happened to the missing ogres.
