Sentinel researchers in Varimhold Outpost have been studying corrupted ore taken from the Dragonbrand. While they were inspecting a recent shipment the ore started to take on a life of it's own, becoming a large Branded Earth Elemental. The fell creature is is now carving a path of destruction across the land.
