To begin my experimentation, I've collected a vial of sap from the oldest tree in the far Deepwood. I took me a long while to get there on my own. But just as I suspected, given the area's protection from sunlight and intense magical saturation, it has taken on an antibacterial quality. It's unlike anything I've worked with in the lab. While not an end-all to my ailment, due to the sap's consistency and potency, it'll serve as a good base for the salve. Just like glue.
For now, I'll simply take a scoop. But when I'm healed, I'll be back for an entire tree.
