What are alliances? Alliances allow multiple guilds to join forces when battling in the Mists. Allied guilds will be put together during matchmaking, allowing them to play in the same worlds. • When creating or joining an alliance, your guild will be invited to that alliance. • If your guild has more players than the allowed invite capacity, you will need to give permission to guild members to choose your guild as their WvW guild. • A guild may only belong to one alliance at a time. • An alliance is limited to 500 players. Who can create or accept alliance invitations? Guild leaders and those they give permission to may create an alliance or accept an alliance invitation. What are the requirements for joining an alliance? • You must meet the general criteria for participating in WvW events. • You must have selected a WvW guild. • You must have sufficient Badges of Honor to pay the creation fee to create (but not join) an alliance.
